We have built a system that takes the headache out of designing and building your backyard. You may not realize how many decisions really need to be made when building a backyard. We build backyards for a living, that means we know all the small details that you may not. To make it easy, we built this system to help you through the process.

Every Better Backyard starts with the foundation, you can choose the finishes that make up your backyard. we have laid them out so you know what options are included in the better backyard foundation.

The second step is to add any upgrades, these are higher end finishes that are not included in the foundation price. These options add a premium feel in the backyard.

The final step, choosing your features. Features are outdoor living items that can turn a ordinary backyard into an extraordinary backyard. We have put together a catalog of our most popular features that our clients have added over the years.

Architectural Style - The first step of the process you get to choose your architectural style, modern, or traditional. This will determine the shape of your space.
Curbing - Every Better Backyard comes with curbing, choose your curbing profile, there are 3 options available, Mower, Slant, Square.
Gravel Type -For the foundation of your Better Backyard we offer 3 gravel types of gravel, medium black and tan - The most common. Snake river pebble - A smooth alternative that is easier to walk on. Black mulch with lava fines - This option is for the person who wants a sleek look with the ease of adding more plants to their beds in the future.
Plant Theme - The final step to complete your foundation is to choose your plant theme, choose between Mountain Native - which are more natural, drought tolerant, soft, pollinator friendly. Or choose Modern Traditional - A clean, architectural, structured, flowering option that blooms at different times of year.
Edging - If you want something more high end than concrete curbing we have some great edging options around the lawn, including black metal, brick, or sandstone.
Artificial Turf - We have an artificial turf upgrade option if you are looking for less maintenance. We even offer putting greens for the golfer in the family.
Plants & Shrubs - The foundation includes a decent quantity of plants, but if you want more plants, or something specific, we have packages for that.
Berms & Boulders - If you are tired of your flat backyard, add some definition with berms and boulders to give your planting space some character.
Fire Pits - we have popular fire pit packages available, or you can customize yours with some of our most popular options.
Patios & Pathways - If you need a patio extension, pathway along the side of the house, or a place to put the grill, we have popular sizes and options. choose from pavers, concrete, or 18” x 36” steppers.
Water Features - We have Popular water feature options that will turn your backyard into your sanctuary.
Garden areas - For the gardener of the family, we can add cedar garden boxes with irrigation and compost for planting those veggies in the spring.
Landscape Lighting - We offer 3 packages for you to choose from, if you’re just looking for a few fixtures to brighten up the space, or if you want the top of the line, we have you covered.
